It’s Personal..The Generational Curse Stops Now ‼️

The generational curse stops with me. They say 3’s a charm ‼️The odds were against me at 18 & starting at Forsyth Tech 6months pregnant. Because I didn’t listen to everyone, I took my child as a blessing to change my life. Through all the trials, tests and lack of support I faced during 2010-2013 I continued to push, cried and prayed. God saw me though to graduate in May 2013 with my AAS in Human Services; I graduated for my daughter. 2014 comes along and I decided to take my education to the next level when an unexpected opportunity happened for me to start back. I pursuit it & started strong 💪🏾. On September 24, 2014 I came to a complete stop. The one family member that gave me the biggest support with whatever I did went to be with our Heavenly Father. Wanting to drop out, i was encouraged to continue as Krissy would have wanted me to. Honestly at that point in my life I couldn’t pray, I couldn’t seek God’s face or anything..I was in utter disbelief and hurting from the tragedy my family just faced 🥺. Fast forward to May 2016 I graduated with my BS in Human Services for Krissy! In the beginning of 2019 I faced some life threatening health issues, I’ve been told I’m lucky because an average 27 year old would not pay attention to their body. I tell people I am blessed because God’s not finished with me yet & this was only a chapter in my story🙏🏾. As I always strive to the highest level and allow God to use me, I decided it was time to do something for me! This degree is personal...Maria A. Lyons, MPA
